Frolander later admitted to Florida police that he has been molesting the boy for three years. My son saved his attackers life, so who's really the hero in this situation?
Browning admitted he 'just snapped' when he walked in on Frolander naked with his son. Shortly after beating the teen into a coma, he went to the kitchen and grabbed a knife, he said. Frolander was considered family by the Brownings and often spent time with the year-old boy, the father said.
The father's outrage comes from being molested himself as a child at a foster home in California. He said beating Frolander was the easy part and much harder days lie ahead. Initially entitled 'Rebuilding Innocence', the fundraising page featured a picture of a sleeping boy and linked the site to his Facebook profile, according to News-Journal Online.
Mr Browning wrote: 'We are reaching out to anyone that can help. Our son was sexualy sic assaulted and we are now faced with the challenge of picking up the pieces, the emotional and financial burden is about more than we can endure.

The father has not been charged with a crime and police appeared to understand his reaction. A subsequent mugshot showed that Frolander had been badly beaten around the face, leaving him with swollen lips and eyes, bruising and lacerations.

Many callers believed police ignored the case. However, that is not true. Court records show police arrested and prosecuted the woman, Michelle Elkins. It quickly went viral. Throughout the nine minute video, Elkins beats the child and verbally abuses him.
The father, and another woman in the house asked her to stop but neither physically intervened. Online supporters claim the father had reported her abusive behavior in the past but police did nothing so he felt he had to record proof.
Court records do not indicate the father called police to report the recorded abuse. The video ends with the father and two boys in a van preparing to drive away. Arrest paperwork shows an unnamed person asked State Police to do a welfare check on Elkins because she was cutting herself. When police arrived she admitted she was upset because her boyfriend left the house after she beat his six-year-old son with a wooden spoon.
In April, a judge sentenced Elkins to two years probation. She also has to pay supervisory fees, continue mental health counseling, and take all of her prescribed medications. She is also not allowed to have unsupervised contact with any children, including her own.
